The
Department offers undergraduate programs in three divisions―
Micro/Nano-Technology, Automatic Control, and Advanced Vehicle. The
objective of each division is listed below.
Micro/Nano-Technology Division: Students are trained to be professional engineers in
micro/nano-scale materials development, fabrication processing, component
fabrication, system integration, measurement and simulation.
Automatic Control Division: Students are trained to be automatic control engineers. After
acquiring the knowledge and practice of automation, mechatronics, and computer
integrated design and manufacturing, they can help the industries upgrade the
manufacturing automation, develop and maintain manufacturing machines.
Advanced
Vehicle Division:
Students are trained to be professional engineers in vehicles especially
automobiles. They are able to repair, test, design, manufacture, and operate
automobiles and other vehicles.
Employment ― Mechanical
development lays the foundation of heavy industries. Our graduates can work
for mechanical industries, precision mold factories, aerospace industries,
automobile factories, motorcycle factories, power companies, shipyards,
machinery factories, steel factories, semiconductor industries,
electro-optical industries, and biotech companies. They are qualified to be
professionally mechanical engineers, equipment engineers, sales engineers,
managers at automobile service shops, and technicians specializing in
automatic control.
