Graduate - Mechatronic Technology

Ph.D. Program in Mechatronic Technology

To meet the new wave of mechatronic age and the upcoming new millennium, the Ph.D. program is established to meet the needs of the nation's long-term development in 2002. The program aims to develop advanced mechatronic technology and systems by integrating interdisciplinary studies in mechanical, electrical, electronic, computer, control, materials and electro-optical engineering along with the semi-conductive and opto-electronic actuators and sensors as well as the technologies of precision finishing, design, positioning, control, fabrication and inspection. The program also endeavors for stronger and broader academic-industrial collaboration to cultivate advanced R&D specialists with capabilities in practical experiences and academic bases.
